A Raglan pub has been fined £500 for food hygiene offences.
The Crown Inn also had to pay £300 costs after business operator Allyson John pleaded guilty to four offences under the Food Hygiene (Wales) Regulations 2006.
Abertillery Magistrates Court heard four charges brought against the pub on 18th May – failing to maintain the premises in a clean condition, failing to keep equipment clean, having in possession (for sale) seven foods past their 'use-by' dates and having in possession (for sale) mouldy food items.
