For the last three years Raglan & Monmouth Darts League have supported local charities in and around the Monmouthshire area. Last season they supported their local hospital, as Karen Burley, who is a league player, works there as a nurse. During the season a dedicated night was arranged in aid of the charity, with all teams from the league taking part by paying a £1 fee to play and holding a draw in their team pubs to go towards the charity. A total of £300 was raised and it was decided a bookcase would be provided for the patients to benefit from. Duncan Bell, from The Pine Shop in Nailers Lane, was commissioned to make the piece as darters wanted to support local business, and it was presented to the hospital.
