THE Wye Knots have been busy quilting for good causes and winning cups at the same time.

Their "Quilters Cul-de-sac" took first prize in the charity fundraising category of Quilts UK, the prestigous Malvern-based show

It was a cup they also won in 2005, but this time their masterpiece will be donated to the waiting room at the Oncology Department at The Heath Hospital.

Each piece of the quilt is a picture of a house and was made by different members of the group using a variety of techniques and then pieced together as a whole.

A picture of the quilt also appeared in the July edition of the Patchwork and Quilting magazine.
