QUANTUM Theatre for Science visited Osbaston Infants and Junior Schools in Monmouth on Tuesday.
The Quantum team consists of two professional actors who perform a 50 minute action packed play called Destination Earth. The interactive performance is a musical comedy on human efforts on the environment and why it is important to recycle.
The tour has been funded by Tec South East Wales.
Fran Harding of Monmouthshire County Council's Education and Business Partnership, said: "The performance promotes science and technology linking it to environmental awareness in a fun way for our young pupils."

Val Smith said: "We know that if children are enthusiastic about recycling, then they can persuade their parents to get into the recycling habit.
"It is very intersting to see how the children respond to the positive message promoted by Quantum. We need as much help as we can get to create a better understanding of the issues surrounding recycling."
Recycling Officer Rebecca Blount said: "We are very grateful to Fran Harding of the Environment and Business Partnership who secured sponsorship from Tec South East Wales to fund this exciting event."
