KIND-spirited pupils from Monmouth School for Boys have raised more than £2,000 to support disadvantaged and vulnerable people in the local community.

Two Form III boys from Hereford House have pushed themselves to the limit in recognition of the good work carried out at Bridges Centre.

Ethan Chick supported by his family, amassed £480 by completing a gruelling 1,500m swim, 40km bike ride and a 10km run.

And Robert Sheen raised £270 by tackling a 52km cycle of the four castles route, taking in Abergavenny (twice), White Castle, Skenfrith and Grosmont.

Hereford House has a good, long tradition of fund-raising activities and the 14 boys from Form III have all played an important part in contributing to this year’s total of £2,007.41 for Bridges Centre.
