SIR,
I do not know if you are aware of the problems recently being faced by members of the public, hikers and ramblers as a result of action taken by Monmouth Haberdashers.
They have, apparently, altered, obstructed and built over the public right of way on the east side of the Wye Bridge at Monmouth.
The right of way is the full width of the entrance down past the pump station.
I understand a car park has been built on the access to the public land. As usual in Monmouth, people seem to think they can do whatever they like.
I worry and wonder if anyone in the planning department at Monmouthshire County Council have any control or say in what the Haberdashers do in Monmouth. Does anyone, apart from me, care or worry about what is happening?
R. W. Bradley
