MONMOUTH Cricket Club have a vital promotion battle with Worcester Dominies in the Worcestershire County League Division 2 on Saturday (4th September).
The Welshmen remain third in the division but are 17 points adrift of second-placed Oldswinford with just two league matches remaining.
Monmouth's hopes securing a top-two place suffered a setback when they could only manage a losing draw in a rain-hit match at Coombs Wood last Saturday (28th August).
But Monmouth returned to form with a spectacular 118-run home triumph over bogey side Feckenham at the Sports Ground on Bank Holiday Monday (30th August).
