MADAM,

I am writing to put straight Mrs P J Maragon of Coleford and Martyn Edwards of Ash Lane.

We the people of Monmouth appreciate everything that Cllr Gary Witcombe is trying to do for the people of Monmouth. Unlike some, he's interested in the needs and wants of the community and is about the only one who is not afraid of action.

I would also like to remind people that Mr Witcombe has done a lot of good work for the community which is what he vowed to do when he became a Town Councillor. He's a man who keeps his word and it's about time his fellow councillors took a page out of his book then maybe things would get done.

Everyone has suffered from the knocks of the recent floods, including myself, who was also unable to visit my family. That's why hundreds of local residents, including myself and family, signed the petition for the road at Ash Lane to be re-opened, giving access to shops and visits to families.
