PRIMARY school pupils from the Monmouth constituency could have their design printed on a Christmas card with the launch of a new competition.
Monmouth AM Nick Ramsay and South East Wales AM Mohammad Asghar have today (22nd September) launched a competition to find the image to feature on their official 2016 Christmas card.
Mr Ramsay is inviting primary school pupils from across the Monmouth constituency to submit pictures in any medium, but in keeping with his chosen theme ‘winter’ by the end of October.
The winner in each of two categories (ages 5-7 and 7-11) will receive a special Christmas gift and have their design printed on the AMs’ joint 2016 Christmas card.
Mr Ramsay has written to every primary school in the Monmouth constituency, inviting pupils to take part in the contest.
He said: “I am delighted to launch my Christmas card competition and showcase some of the talent in primary schools in our communities.
“As beautiful as many scenic photos can be, this year I want to see what winter means to the young people of Monmouth and find an image that captures the Christmas season.”
