Officers from Police Scotland are appealing for the public in the Gwent area for assistance in tracing missing person, Peter Cooper, age 72.
Mr Cooper was reported missing from the Hutcheon Street area of Aberdeen on Tuesday 9th April and is believed to have links to the Gwent area.
Police are anxious to trace Peter due to a medical condition for which he requires to take medication.
Peter is described as being 5'7" tall, medium build, with balding grey hair and a grey beard.
He was last seen wearing khaki combat trousers and a light coloured army style camouflage jacket.
DI Stewart Mackie, from Police Scotland said: "We are becoming more and more concerned for Mr Cooper, particularly given his age and the amount of time since he was last seen.
"I would urge him to contact us, or alternatively a family member or friend to confirm that he is safe and well."
Any person who believes they may know the whereabouts of Peter is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous.
