Gwent Wildlife Trust Chepstow Group would like to thank everyone, both local nurseries and individuals, who helped to make the May Grand Plant Sale & Bazaar such a success.
The event is always a great team effort and we are also grateful to the Senior Citizen's Centre for allowing us once again to fill it with plants for the day!
The remaining plants will go on to the stall which we will be running at the Gardener's Market at the Open Gardens Weekend in Usk, held on Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th June. This is the first time GWT has attended this lovely event and everyone is looking forward to it very much; as ever, any offers of help over the weekend, or of more plants to sell, would be welcomed; please ring 01291 689326.
Next month GWT Chepstow Group is holding a very different kind of event. On Thursday 9th July at the Drill Hall, Chepstow, in association with the Chepstow Bookshop, everyone is invited to meet local artist and author Trudy Friend, who will be talking about her new book and her painting methods.
