CATCHMENT boundaries for two Welsh speaking schools in Monmouthshire could be established today (18th March).

According to Monmouthshire County Council (MCC) it is necessary to establish catchment areas for the Welsh speaking schools who currently have none.

Catchment areas for both Ysgol Y Fenni and Ysgol Y Ffin are likely to be rubber-stamped today.

Ysgol Y Fenni has the larger catchment area with children expected to come from Abergavenny, Monmouth, Raglan and Usk with Ysgol Y Ffin taking children from Chepstow and Caldicot.
