MONMOUTH Town Council are giving members of the public and interested parties a chance to air their views on the upcoming Dixton Road/ A40 plans.

Following a presentation of the updated plans, the council will open the meeting to the public and will hear from Mr David Cummings of the Monmouth chamber group and the Gateway to Wales Action Group.

Councillors will then make a recommendation on the planning application, (DC/2013/01071 ) which includes two commercial retail units and a public house/ restaurant with ancillary accommodation, associated car parking, servicing, access and landscaping.

The meeting will be held on Monday 11th September at 6pm in the Community Room in the Shire Hall, Monmouth.
