Monmouthshire County Council has announced a temporary closure of Trebern Road, Pen Yr Heol, from 6–8 October 2025 to allow Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water to carry out essential works safely. The affected section is approximately 50 metres from its junction with Bryngwyn Road. A signed diversion route will be in place via Bryngwyn Road, School Road, and Waste Road. Reasonable access will be maintained for residents. The order is enforceable under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and breaches may result in penalties.

Whitewall Road Closure for Water Works in Magor

Monmouthshire County Council has issued a temporary traffic order for Whitewall, Magor, from 7–10 October 2025 to allow Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water to carry out essential works safely. The affected section is approximately 60 metres south of its junction with Redwick Road. A signed diversion route will be in place via Redwick Road, Newport Road, B4245, The Ramp, The Causeway, and Boundary Road. Reasonable access will be maintained for residents. The order is enforceable under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, with penalties for non-compliance.

Nant-Y-Derry Road Closure for Brickwork Repairs

Monmouthshire County Council will temporarily close Nant-Y-Derry Road, Goytre, for brickwork repairs from 3–5 October 2025. Closures will run from 08:00–16:00 on 3 October and overnight from 21:00–07:00 on 4–5 October. Affected section is ~150m from Church Road junction. Diversions via Church Road, Newtown Road, and Star Road will be in place. Access for fronting properties will be maintained.
