I read with concern your reporting of BT’s plan to remove telephone equipment from outside the Shire Hall.

I moved to Onen in 2001 and in 2002 BT removed the telephone box from the green opposite my house.

When I protested commenting that the telephone box was used frequently by Offa’s Dyke walkers, I was told that they could use mobile phones.

Now in 2018 we are still waiting for any mobile phone signal in this area!

Shouldn’t BT be devoting investment towards telecommunications as opposed to spending increasing millions of pounds on televising football on BT Sport!
