I’d like to express my thanks to the 193 people who signed a petition at the Monmouthshire Show on 6th July calling for the release of Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe.

Nazanin is a British mum who has been unfairly jailed in Iran for more than three years. She is being treated awfully in prison, having been subjected to solitary confinement and has repeatedly had vital medical care denied to her.

She recently finished a 15 day hunger strike in jail, while her husband Richard was also on hunger strike in the UK.
