A word of warning to anyone thinking of re-homing a lurcher or greyhound rescue dog for Christmas.

Just remember that these are basically hunting dogs and will go for anything small and furry.

Sadly, my family cat fell prey to one of these animals, the owner not realising how vicious they were. What if it had been a toddler? Be warned: these dogs must not be allowed in public places without a muzzle.
