MADAM,
I am writing to say how nice it was to be able to park outside my own house during the school holidays.
The return of the girls’ school has brought back all the parked cars from last year and it seems to be even more this year.
I have asked the school to mention this to staff and pupils as it is not just the girls. but my cries seem to fall on deaf ears. It is only myself and my neighbours who don’t have off-road parking, everywhere else does so they could park anywhere else and it wouldn’t be a problem.
I would have hoped that all the concessions us residents make for the school means we would be allowed some courtesy.
We all have to coexist in this town though the balance seems slightly shifted to a certain party.
