SIR,
Can someone please explain to me why Drybridge Park has been turned into Monmouth's unofficial BMX track?
There are gangs of school kids, ranging in age from about 10 to 17, ripping out the pailings from the fences, and digging huge holes in the bank.
This park used to be covered in beautiful spring flowers where local people could go to walk in relative safety, but now you take your life in your hands just avoiding these kids on BMXs and mountain bikes.
The whole area is covered in empty bottles, both plastic and glass, along with empty crisp packets, fast food boxes etc.
Where are the parents while they are destroying this park?
Last summer, a young policewoman was actually assigned to pick up all the litter left by these kids.
With all the local crime, surely this is a waste of public money?
