A series of final interviews has failed to find a suitable new headteacher for Monmouth Comprehensive School.
Despite promise shown in earlier rounds of the recruitment process, the seven-strong Governor Selection Panel was not satisfied that any of the candidates met the requirements of the role.
Interviews were carried out by the panel on 30th and 31st March, with the support of county advisers and consultants Navigate.
