Children at Mitchel Troy Playgroup are celebrating the opening of a new access ramp at Mitchel Troy village hall.

The ramp gives them independent access to the garden and play area.

Staff and parents are delighted with the results. Glenda Genner, assistant director of Gwent Association of Voluntary Organisations, which was involved in the scheme, was invited along to help officially open the ramp. She commented that it "enables all children, including those with disabilities, to have full access to the well equipped outdoor play area."
