MADAM,

I welcome the planned widening of the pavements at the top of Monnow Street.

I look forward to walking past window shoppers and meeting pushchairs, shopping trolleys, mobility scooters, guide dogs etc. without having to step into the road.

Driving along Monnow Street has always needed patience and care as you negotiate delivery vans, dustbin lorries, double parking and pedestrians. It will take some getting used to but it will be well worth it.
