HABERDASHERS’ Monmouth School and Monmouth and Monmouth Day Nursery are delighted to announce a new partnership which will enhance early years education for local families.

Starting from September 2025, Monmouth Day Nursery will open a new setting within the Inglefield building at Haberdashers’ Monmouth Prep School. This new nursery will offer high-quality childcare for children aged six weeks to four years old, in a nurturing environment.

Parents will retain the flexibility to enrol their child at Haberdashers’ Monmouth Prep-Prep school from the age of three, maintaining the school’s longstanding tradition of nurturing young learners from an early age.

Children progressing from the nursery to the Pre-Prep school, or straight into Prep school will gain familiarity of the school’s campus which they will use as a nursery child.

This new offer ensures families can have additional flexibility and choice, to suit their child’s development and their own circumstances.

Monmouth Day Nursery will operate for 42 weeks per year, enabling their school children to have childcare during some of the school holidays.

Families will be able to make use of the government-funded childcare hours.

To celebrate the launch, an open morning will be held on Friday August 15 from 9am to 10.30am, where families can meet staff from both the nursery and the school and explore the facilities, with strong early interest and limited spaces available, families are encouraged to register their interest as soon as possible.
