POPULAR local blues rock band, Twysted River will re-launch their new line-up with a charity gig at the Afon Gwy, Chepstow on Saturday 14th March.

With the addition of more vocals and lots of harmonies, saxophone, bass and drums, Twysted River are now a fully-fledged blues band.

Their new set features many old favourites with some modern and self-penned songs added to the list.

The "Everybody Needs Somebody" evening sees Twysted River share the stage with Rob Beresford, another established local musician playing exciting rock.

Charities St David's Hospice Care and the Electric Landlady Project will benefit too from sponsoring of songs and t-shirt auctions.

The start of a new era for Twysted River, with Rob Beresford, kicks off at 8pm. It's a free event and no tickets are needed.

There will be a collection though, sponsoring of songs on the set list and an auction of Twysted River t-shirts as well as the Electric Landlady Charity CD on sale.
