The Rayner Opticians Mixed Netball fundraising tournament and disco hosted by Monmouth Netball Club has been hailed a success after raising hundreds of pounds for the club.
Eight teams entered the tournament, which was held at Monmouth Leisure Centre on Saturday 2nd July.
The teams were The Sapphires, Crickhowell, Lyndean, Evesham Blues, Mizzi Gizzi, Moody Cows, Team Emma and Team Kate.
The teams played each other in 10-minute matches, with the top four qualifying for the semi-finals and the winners of the semis facing each other in the final.
Monmouth MP David Davies attended the event, playing as goalkeeper for The Sapphires in the opening game.
