A mum of three says she almost died after being refused an ambulance three times by service staff.Helen Rollings, who had not long found out she was pregnant, started bleeding at home in Monmouth on Tuesday 15th March.Her partner Theo dialled 999 as Helen was in so much pain, only to be told an ambulance would not be coming as Helen was only in her first trimester."I was bleeding internally," said Helen, "I have never experienced pain like it and I have had two caesarians.""We rang again but were told I could not have an ambulance because I was less than four months pregnant, and I should go to the doctors."Theo said: "They said a nurse would tell us whether to go to the doctors or if we could have an ambulance."When the nurse eventually phoned she said I should drive Helen to the surgery. I did and followed the response car on the way."
