Marks & Spencer’s Monmouth food store will reopen its doors to customers this Saturday 6th December at 8am, following its temporary closure due to the recent severe flooding in Monmouth town centre.
After three weeks of restoration and safety works Monmouth food store is now fully prepared and excited to welcome back shoppers. Customers can look forward to picking up great quality fresh fruit and veg, delicious and convenient ready-to-eat meals, and more than 100 ‘Remarkable Value’ everyday essentials.
Just in time for Christmas customers will be reunited with their favourite store features including the in-store bakery offering a selection of fresh-from-the-oven breads, artisanal pastries, and sweet treats baked daily. Meanwhile the M&S Wine Shop, stocked with exceptional collections perfect for gifting and hosting.
Benjy Morris, Store Manager, M&S Monmouth said: “We thank the Monmouth community for their patience and support during this challenging period. Customer and colleague safety has been our top priority throughout the closure, and we look forward to serving our customers again from Saturday morning.”
The M&S Monmouth team consists of 32 colleagues who were eager to support the store’s reopening. Several colleagues volunteered for overtime, while many who had planned holidays this week chose to reschedule them to help ensure a smooth reopening and great service for customers.
Benjy continued: “Our team has been phenomenal. They have gone above and beyond to make this reopening possible. Their dedication and team spirit is exactly why we’re so excited to welcome customers back.”
M&S Monmouth is open Monday – Friday, 8am – 8pm, Saturday from 8am-7pm, and Sunday 10am – 4pm.
