Police in South Herefordshire have confirmed that they are conducting an investigation into the death of a 10-year old boy following a quad bike incident on a farm at Llangarron near Ross during the early evening of Thursday 6th August 2009.

The youngster who died has been named as Archie Scudamore from Upton Bishop near Ross, a pupil at Gorsley Goffs Primary School.

The Coroner has been informed and an inquest is expected to be opened and adjourned this week to allow for further enquiries to be made.
