CONGESTION reported on M4 Westbound from J24 Coldra to J26 Malpas, and Eastbound from J28 Tredegar to J26 Malpas. Delays are expected.

The M4 Brynglas Tunnels will be closed Westbound tonight (22nd August) from 8pm until 6am tomorrow morning (23rd August) as maintenance work is carried out.

Lane one Westbound on M48 Severn Bridge will be closed today (22nd August) from 7am until 5pm.

Both Severn Bridges are currently open to all traffic.

There are no Met Office severe weather warnings in place today.

Expect a wet and cloudy day with outbreaks of rain.

Roads elsewhere throughout Monmouthshire look clear.
