A SURVEY which was conducted as part of the Data Cymru’s National Resident Survey, received feedback from more than 1,000 residents between September and October 2025 and is now available to view.

Monmouthshire County Council looked at varied opinions which were expressed by Monmouthshire residents from local areas, community life, council services, customers experiences, and local democracy.

A public summary of the results is now available on the Let’s Talk Monmouthshire website as well as information on how the residents can continue to get involved in council consultations and engagement activities.

Monmouthshire County Council Cabinet Member for Equalities and Engagement, Cllr Angela Sandles, said: “We’re grateful to everyone who took the time to share their views through the 2025 Residents Survey.

“The feedback provides us with the important insights into how people feel about living in Monmouthshire and their experiences with council services.

“Publishing the results on Let’s Talk Monmouthshire is part of our commitment to openness and listening to our communities. We will use what residents have told us to help inform our plans, improve services and continue working with our communities to make Monmouthshire an even better place to live.”
