LOTS of people gathered in Monmouthshire to watch the partial Solar Eclipse on Wednesday evening, watching from different locations such as the popular viewpoint, The Kymin or from their home.

Monmouthshire witnessed a partial eclipse but parts of north and central Spain as well as areas in Portugal, Greenland and Iceland experienced a total eclipse.

Here is a wide selection of coverage residents captured on this special evening.
