Monmouth Netball Club's first team have been promoted to division one of the SE Wales Netball League after just one season in the league.
At the end of the 2008/09 netball season the team decided to make the move to the SE league after winning the Monmouth Netball League four times in the last five years and finishing runners-up once.
The club thought a new league would offer them a new challenge as there was nowhere to win promotion to from the league they were in
