SIR,
Why on earth does the question of whether the Friday and Saturday markets return to their rightful place outside the Shire Hall in Monmouth have to go to two committees and possibly cabinet for a decision?
Most of the people who live in Monmouth want it back there, and most of the stall holders want it back there.
Why don't these people listen to us, the taxpayers?
Half of the car park at the bottom of town is now taken up with stallholders. What will happen when the tourist season begins?
Parking is abysmal anyway and these two dozen (at least) parking places will be needed – otherwise visitors will not return to our beautiful town.
I, and many others, implore Debbie McCarty and Moyna Wilkinson to listen to what residents of Monmouth wish.
