STUDENTS from Haberdashers’ Monmouth School attended a fashion show at Haberdashers’ Hall in London in collaboration with Jimmy Choo Academy.

The event was held on Monday June 9th and brought together the next generation of British fashion talent and the legacy of British education.

The students attended the JCA Graduate Fashion Show at Haberdashers’ hall where they took part in professional workshops led by JCA tutors and gained behind-the-scenes access to model preparation, makeup artistry and runway rehearsals.

The day offered a real world glimpse into the fashion industry, culminating in a VIP reception with fashion legend Karen Millen, followed by the opportunity to watch the JCA Graduate exposition a showcase of cutting-edge collections from the academy’s next generation of designers.

It also reflects the school’s close link to Professor Jimmy Choo, Patron of Haberdashers’ Monmouth’s Fashion, Design and Textiles pillar, and to JCA Director Lucy Choi, whose sons attend the school.

“This fashion show was a celebration of that vision in action. From hands-on creative workshops to witnessing the behind- the-scenes preparation of a fashion show,” Said Lucy Choi.

Students from Haberdashers’ Monmouth School and fellow Haberdashers schools joined JCA for an immersive experience that offered a rare behind-the-scenes look at the creative forces shaping the future of fashion.

The programme included a private backstage interaction with Karen Millen OBE, a creative workshop which was led by JCA tutors and a backstage preview as JCA students prepared for their final runway collections.
