A MONMOUTH Comprehensive School Sixth Former entered the prestigious Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts as a soloist to represent a Gloucestershire based TwoCan Inclusive Theatre Company.

Emilia Cherry is a member of this theatre company which highlights talent from each individual who attend.

They provide inclusive theatrical experience for performers, participants and audiences. This year the festival is celebrating its centenary, so Emilia was very happy to have received an Honours certificate from the Adjudicators for her performance of Road to Amarillo.

In her performance it included singing and dancing to her own choreography which had taken a lot of rehearing prior to the big day.

The judge congratulated Emilia on her ‘lovely, rhythmic movement, good singing and audience engagement... you had us all clapping”
