Monmouth 1st XI produced an excellent all round performance to return to winning ways in the Worcester County League Division Two.
The Welshmen bounced back from recent disappointments as they eased to an eight-wicket win over the previously undefeated Colwall 1st XI.
Monmouth, who are sponsored by The Kings Head JD Wetherspoon, restricted their hosts well in the first half of the match ensuring that they would need 206 to win in 50 overs.
An assured opening partnership between Dan Head (54) and David Teague (64) established a good start to the run chase.
