The Queens Head Hotel at Monmouth has been prosecuted for Food Hygiene Offences.

The case was heard at Abergavenny Magistrates Court on 16th June, involving the Queens Head, which is at 1, St James's Street, Monmouth.

The Hotel's Food Business Operator, Mr Neill Bell, pleaded guilty to six offences under the Food Hygiene (Wales) Regulations 2006, the Food Labelling Regulations 1996 and the Food Safety Act 1990.

Mr Bell, who is the Food Business Operator for both the Queens Head and Imli, the Indian restaurant/takeaway which operates from the same premises, was fined a total of £2010, plus £500 costs.
