AN 11 year old girl from Monmouth has been left with life-changing injuries following a two-vehicle collision on the A30 near Tedburn St Mary in Devon on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency services were called at around 12.40pm on Thursday following a collision involving a Volkswagen Polo and a Ford Ranger on the eastbound carriageway near the Fingle Glen junction.
The young girl, who was travelling in the Volkswagen Polo, was airlifted to Bristol Children’s Hospital, where she remains receiving treatment for her injuries.
The female driver of the Polo and two other children travelling in the vehicle were taken to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with minor injuries.
The woman remains in hospital.
All of those involved are from Monmouth.
