Monmouth 1st XI suffered a disappointing home defeat at the hands of Pedmore as their promotion hopes all but ended.
After electing to bat, Monmouth's top order faltered, with only Australian Andy McGuire (35) making a noticeable contribution.
With Monmouth seven wickets down, Tej Saran (45), pictured, joined forces with Paul Swingwood (33) to take the innings to a competitive total of 190 all out. Steve Lawson (4-36) was the pick of a well disciplined Pedmore attack.
