AN elderly Monmouth couple were killed in a road accident at Woofferton, near Ludlow, last week.
The accident happened at the junction of the B4362 near the Salway Arms on the A49 at 3 pm on Tuesday when their Astra was involved in a collision with a Mitsubishi Shogun.
Mr Edward Norris, aged 73, of Vine Acre, Hereford Road, and his 71-year-old wife Sylvia were cut free from their vehicle and airlifted to hospital, but died later.
The driver of the Shogun, a 41-year-old man from Longtown, and his passenger were treated for shock.
The funeral of Mr and Mrs Norris will be held at St Mary's Parish Church at 1 pm on Friday.
There are family flowers only, but donations in lieu for the Citizens Advice Bureau or Help the Aged may be given at the service or sent to David Stockwell and Co.
