Staff at the co-operative food store in Monmouth are pictured signing a giant St Dwynwen's Day card on 11th January to mark the end of a year-long charity partnership with Oxfam Cyrmu and Dolen Cymru.
The store team topped the fundraising charts in the area, helping to raise a total of £90,000 for the Seeds of Hope partnership, smashing its £50,000 target.
The Co-operative brokered a charity partnership between Oxfam Cymru and Dolen Cymru to support growing and sustainability projects at home and abroad during the United Nations International Year of Co-operatives 2012.
All Co-operative food stores, pharmacies and bank branches were encouraged to raise funds for the cause, and the Monmouth store rustled up £1,090.
Ashley Drake, membership manager for The Co-operative in Wales, said: "The Seeds of Hope partnership has gone from strength-to-strength since we launched our fundraising drive in early 2012. Our store and branch colleagues really embraced the challenge and came up with some innovative and fun ways to raise cash.
"The fact we have managed to exceed our original target by such an amount is testament to the hard work of the store and branch teams, and also the generosity and support of our customers."
