Mitchel Troy Village Hall hosts spooky Halloween party

Mitchel Troy Village Hall was turned into a spooky pirate’s den for the ’spooktacularly’ exciting Halloween Party last Saturday.

There was crafting of spiders and pumpkin monsters inside to add to the spiders and monsters that had already invaded the Hall, and dipping for ducks and eating donuts on strings outside, while the fiendish Treasure Hunt kept children and parents rushing around inside and out as soon as they arrived.

A brilliant spread of Halloween cupcakes and squash for the children and slices of cake with tea and coffee and alcoholic drinks from the bar for the adults kept up the energy levels until Phil’s BBQ was ready to serve.

Towards the end of the party, judges chose three fancy dress winners for different age groups. Pictured are Sofia, prizewinner of the older children’s age group, dressed as Pomni a hideous character from the amazing digital circus, and Hannah the witch, the adult prizewinner.

Congratulations to them and Ocean the youngest age-group prizewinner, as well as to the organisers of very enjoyable event.
