Missing pensioner Hugh Eyles was found late yesterday afternoon (23rd May) in St Briavels.

Mr Eyles had fallen but police report that he is well and was treated by an ambulance at the scene.

Gloucestershire Police thanked all who helped with search.

The Beachley-based rescue crew from the Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA) were called in to help search the River Wye yesterday.

85-year-old Mr Eyles from St Briavels went missing on Tuesday (22nd May) after setting out for a walk.

Mr Eyles suffers from Parkinson's and is described as frail, prompting officers to be very concerned about his welfare.
