NOSTALGIA in the form of t-dresses, flares and petticoats, will grace the Shire Hall later this year.
Vintage fashion shop, Vintage Vision, is holding a vintage fayre at the Shire Hall on October 6th.
The fayre was held previously in Abergavenny and brought in around two and a half thousand vintage lovers from across the country.
Amanda Peters, a founder of Vintage Vision, said:
"We are looking forward to holding the Vintage Fayre at the Shire Hall this year.
"Abergavenny fayre was extremely successful and we look to repeat its success at the hall in October.
"We are looking to fill the Shire Hall with lots of stalls selling vintage clothes. We'll also have women modelling the clothes, a vintage cafe and vintage music.
"The fayre will be a great community event and we hope to work alongside lots of businesses in Monmouth."
Vintage Vision recruits volunteers for their shops in Chepstow and Abergavenny where women are taught how to recycle, repair and personalise their clothes.
Miss Monmouthshire, Emilie Parry-Williams, was featured doing her first ever cover shoot for Monmouthshire County Life magazine wearing clothes supplied by Vintage Vision. Miss Parry-Williams said: "Vintage Vision is a fantastic company which really is a gem in Monmouthshire. Vintage fashion is huge at the moment and is the perfect way to find unique pieces at good value!
"The clothes are so diverse and cater for men and women of all ages so there really is something for everyone inside.
"For my recent photo shoot with Monmouthshire County Life magazine, I was able to try for myself some stunning examples of what the shop has to offer.
"My favourite piece was the red polka dot 50's dress, as it really was gorgeous and perfect for a summer garden party with some pimms!
"I would encourage everyone to visit Vintage Vision, as you never know what little gems you may find inside. If you like unique clothing and the assurance that no-one has the same outfit as you, then try vintage, you won't regret it!"
