ON Sunday 17th June, chairman of the Monmouthshire Show, Ann Roderick, vice chairman Liz Hacket Pain and president Chris Lloyd MRCV, along with secretary Liz Egerton and volunteers took the Monmouthshire Show to Monmouth town. 

In front of the town hall, they did a meet and greet with Monmouth residents and visitors to let them know about the show on Saturday 7th July.  Ella the Shetland pony was the star of the show and drew the people in. 

Children or adults alike could brush her and feed her. They also had Floppy the rabbit and the two rescue hens. 

They gave out leaflets with all the information about the show, and generally promoted the show. 

“It was a great success and even though it was a Sunday lots of people stopped to talk to us” said Liz.
