Four new bedrooms have been officially opened at a Monmouth guest house.

The Coach House is now a four-star guest house thanks to a glowing report from the tourist board.

The quality of the customer service at the Coach House was rated as five-star.

Mayor of Monmouth Jeana Hall and MP David Davies were among dignitaries invited to the official opening of the rooms on Friday 5th November.

Cutting the ribbon, Jeana said she was delighted to be opening the rooms at a place where "the bacon sandwiches are to die for".

"I believe the rooms are excellent and can't wait to get up there," she added.
