Love your Library? Come and get involved – volunteers needed

Monmouth Library and Councillor Catherine Fookes are calling for volunteers to join a Friends of Monmouth Library group.

The idea is that the group of volunteers would support and promote the library and be a voice for the community with regards the library.

Catherine said: “This is a great opportunity for us to support our fantastic library – Chepstow and Caldicot have active friends groups who do great things such as helping with events and displays.

‘‘The task is not onerous but if you can spare an hour a month, we’d love to have your support.

‘‘Come along to an exploratory meeting for half an hour or so 6pm Tuesday 6th December – we promise you a warm welcome!”
