THE driver of a lorry that crashed on the A40 eastbound near to Raglan this morning has pronounced dead at the scene.

Gwent Police were called to the area at 11am this morning (7th November) after a report of a one-vehicle RTC involving a lorry.

The road remains closed whilst emergency services are on the scene.

Police are currently tracing the driver's next of kin.
