INSPIRED by her late husband, a Monmouth woman is on course to achieving her ambition of becoming a qualified cook.
Linda Thomas, who works at Monmouth School, is taking a Foundation Modern Apprenticeship in food preparation and cooking with a National Vocational Qualification level two.
The 39-year-old hopes to complete the qualification by next April and would love to progress to a Modern Apprenticeship with an NVQ level three.
For now, though, she is just delighted to be on the road to achieving her dream of following in the footsteps of her late husband, Andrew, who was a qualified chef.
