SIR,
I was delighted to read the letter sent into the Beacon of Wednesday 22nd September by Mr and Mrs Churches of Swindon, calling for the Welsh flag to be seen flying from the refurbished Shire Hall.
I had made the request a few years ago and was told of the difficulty of putting a flag on the building.
I would hope that with the massive expenditure on its refurbishment there will be no reason why our flag cannot be flown from here now.
